Plot
In an isolated farmhouse, a couple with difficult relationships raise their nephew in a heavy and violent family atmosphere, where these three characters grow old in the taboo and the exhibition. At the center of these contradictions, the nephew is torn between his uncle’s angry excesses and his aunt’s ambiguous closeness. The dubious behavior of his adoptive parents will then push him towards strange practices…

Yoann Luis’ first short film, “Behind The Bush” is a tribute to the genre cinema of the 70’s, staging an offbeat and dusty universe like John Boorman’s “Deliverance”.
The film has won many awards and has had an exceptional international career in festivals.
